The Venango County Regional Planning Commission (VCRPC) works with communities to protect their natural environments and assists local municipalities in the day-to-day functions related to subdivision, land development, and grant applications.

The VCRPC Board Meeting is scheduled for 6:30 PM on Tuesday, April 18th (4/18/2023), at 6:30 PM in Conference Room 100 in the Courthouse Annex (1174 Elk Street, Franklin).

The Venango County Infrastructure Bank Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Program will be opening in January 2023. 

Information about this program will be presented at the Council of Governments (COG) meeting scheduled for January 19th, 2023 at the Cranberry Township municipal meeting. Click here for more information about the program.

Household Hazardous Waste Event 2023

The Venango County Community Recycling Center is hosting Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and Electronics collection events on the following dates from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM:

  • February 25th
  • May 27th
  • August 5th
  • November 4th

2023 Flyer - Venango County

Tire Collection

The Venango County Community Recycling Center is hosting a Spring 2023 Tire Collection Event on Saturday, June 10th from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The program will be accepting up to 20 tires per residence/business. The price for tires is currently $2 per standard car tire, $3 per light truck tire, and $12 per oversized tire. 

Residents must call in advance to pre-register by June 2nd.
