About
In 1999, at the direction of the President Judge of the Venango County Court of Common Pleas, the adult intermediate punishment and juvenile probation departments were merged in an effort to create economies and efficiency. A total of twenty five staff are currently responsible for a plethora of tasks including: preparing recommendations for the Court, supervision of offenders, collection of fines, costs, and restitution, coordinating treatment of offenders and implementing programs designed to increase offender competencies and reduce recidivism. Court Supervision Services is committed to providing a balanced approach to the administration of justice. Our programs and supervision strategies are designed to protect the community, hold the offender accountable, restore the victim, and address offender competencies.
