Support Groups - Community Support Program

Overview

The Community Support Program is composed of a group of people with lived mental health experiences, family members, professionals, and community members. This program is people helping people in recovery and is supportive to everyone. It helps people not to be defined by their past or their labels and promotes individuals' voices to be heard.

It is an informal support in the community for individuals. The groups goals and operations can be summarized with CREATE:

  • Community outreach and social activities
  • Research
  • Educate
  • Awareness
  • Training
  • Empowerment

Frequency & Location of Contacts

Meetings are held every 3rd Friday of each month from 1 to 3 p.m. at:

Eligibility

Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome in the group.
